On July 1, 2015 all of the regional branches of Rainbow Ltd featured an event: sales agents of two teams have started their field work – one working with the Mondelez brands and the other with the brands of Jacobs.

On May 27-29, 2015 the team of APPLECity Distributors managers has taken part in the annual P&G distributor operations forum in Moscow (Russia).


APPLECity Company took an active part in the event "Memory is stronger than time", devoted to the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the World Day of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.


On the week commencing April 19th, the ACD company held an annual assessment of the GDA system (Global Distributor Assessment)

Managing the FMCG distribution:


By present, company has more than 25 000 clients in the RK territory. It uses all the possible sales channels in the most effective way: Pre-Selling (PS), OSDO, Van Selling (VS), MixSelling (VS+PS), Rural-Selling, HoReCa, ‘Sub-D’, Freelance, Cash&Carry. The FMCG portfolio has non-food (Procter&Gamble), as well as food (Mondelēz International) products, more than 1100 SKU. Total count of stuff is more than 1,600 employees. Proactive development of efficient market coverage strategies for our partners is the main task for our personnel.

In the certain cities we provided our sales agents and supervisors with the new Daewoo Nexia cars in order to increase their mobility.


Logistics management:


Company has its warehouses in all large cities of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. To the present moment in Almaty, Shymkent, Aktobe and Astana there function distribution logistics centers of A & B+ class, which provide the full logistics service for imported (P&G and KraftFoods) goods. To help these processes we use address multi-tier storing by using special program: Warehouse Management System (WMS).


The company’s vehicle fleet counts more than 300 units of vans and tracks for delivering products in sales points. The part of vehicle fleet has isothermal vans and refrigerating appliances to support special transportation conditions.

Companys strategic planning:


In order to conduct the company’s efficient activity we have the long-term business-planning system. Also we use the system of strategy development and implementation by the OGSM (Objectives, Goals, Strategies, Measures) format. Key performance indicators are defined accordingly to the goals of OGSM plan. Quality management system (ISO 9001-2008) is implemented since 2007. Staff satisfaction investigation program is implemented and tracked on the yearly basis since 2006. In the company we have developed and approved long-term development plan up to 2020.


Organizational development:

On a semi-annual basis we evaluate our staff by the system of activity and career development estimation system, rom the middle chain managers to lower staff.
